Oak Park String Academy trains musicians from first bow hold through college auditions.

Why OPSA

We start children on the violin as young as four — small hands, an appropriately sized instrument, and a beautiful, complicated skill waiting to be built one patient step at a time.

Learning to play well isn't fast, and it isn't easy. It takes daily practice, real perseverance, and teamwork — student, parent, and teacher working together, week after week, year after year.

And then something remarkable happens. The scales become music. The music becomes mastery. And the relationship that got you there lasts a lifetime.
